July 28, 2010It is with regret that the Retired Association membership is notified of the death of Marian Beavers, mother of deceased member Brother Dick Beavers. There will be a viewing at Rausch Funeral Home 8325 Mount Harmony Lane Owings, Maryland on Friday July 30, 2010 at 1000 AM. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on July 30, 2010 at 1100 AM. The notification was made by Diane Beavers, wife of Brother Dick Beavers. July 23, 2010 On July 22 several retired members went to celebrate Brother George Robey ID #15's eighty ninth birthday. Brother Pat Grogan was very gracious in hosting the event and ordered a cake with a photo from 1957 transposed on the icing. Brother Grogan also purchased several picture frames and mounted Brother Robey's 1953 "Academy Class" photo. In attendance was George's daughters Carol and Brenda, 3 grandchildren, Brothers Pat Grogan, Vern Ireland, Bill Kreutzer, John Rhoades, Dennis Keane, Denny Campbell, Phil Constantino, retired civilian Toni Frostbutter Nelson, and former member Charlie Morse. It was very special and memorable event. July 19, 2010 Angie Hasty, wife of Brother Jim Hasty, has been admitted to Washington Hospital Center for by pass surgery. July 10, 2010 Margaret Eads, wife of Brother Dudley Eads, has sent word that Brother Eads is to have surgery on July 19. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. |
