Cloture Vote on H.R. 82, the Social Security Fairness Act – TODAY!

This afternoon, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has called a cloture vote on H.R. 82, the Social Security Fairness Act. While we anticipate strong Democratic support, we need a total of 60 votes to achieve cloture and advance the bill to a floor vote.

Time is of the essence. Every moment counts.

A YES vote on cloture to advance the bill to the floor.

Focus efforts on Republican Senators who have co-sponsored the Senate version of this bill. Their support is critical to reaching the 60-vote threshold.
