Upon his retirement from the PGFD, Jim became a police officer with the City of Bowie Police Department. He worked with the City of Bowie for twelve years (2008-2020), after which time he was placed on disability.
Jim was well known for his humor, jokes, and being a prankster. He was equally well known for his heart of gold and performed many acts of kindness, going out of his way to help the citizens of Prince George’s County and the City of Bowie. Everyone, good guys and bad guys, all had a story about Jim!
Jim leaves behind his devoted wife (Kathie McNulty Sullivan), his three beloved daughters (Kaitlyn, Kelli, and Jamie), and his faithful dog Harley. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the next few days, weeks, and months without Jim.
