It is with great sorrow that the Association is notified of the Death of Russell W Younkers ID 539

Russ passed away on October 21, 2023

he was 77 years old.

Russ served for 20 years from June, 1972, until he retired in September, 1992.

He has been retired for 31 years.

I spoke with Russ’s son, Mike today and per Russ’s wishes there will be a memorial service at a later date. He relates that Russ was extremely proud of his service with Prince Georges County Police Department and had many great memories of his time with PGPD.

Please keep his wife Penny and the rest of the Younkers family in your thoughts and prayers.
