Death of Mandy Woods (Zidek)

With a heavy heart the Special Investigation Division’s Auto Crimes Section must inform you of the untimely passing of Amanda ‘Mandy’ Carol Wood, wife of Retired Corporal Christopher Wood #1960 currently assigned to the Dille Tract as a civilian VIN inspector. Mandy was formerly a Public Safety Aide and a station clerk. Mandy’s other connections to the PGPD family include her mother June Zidek who retired as a station clerk, her cousin Retired Corporal Jimmy Hasty, and her nephew POFC John Rasmussen. Due to COVID restrictions the family has elected not to have formal services. A celebration of life will be planned at a future date once gathering restrictions have eased. Please keep the Wood family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
